Effective Date: September 27, 2026
At Locohozt (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use Zenus360 (the “Platform”), which enables residents, property owners, and tenants to manage their estate, receive demand notices, and make payments to their estate management company through our mobile application (the “App”) and website. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By accessing or using the Zenus360 platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information from you when you register on our platform, are added to a property by your estate management company, or use our services. The types of information we collect include:
1.1 Personal Information
- Name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Residential and property addresses
- Password, stored only as a one-way hash that we cannot read
- Payment information processed through our payment partners
1.2 Profile Information
- Username
- Your relationship to a property (e.g., owner, tenant, resident)
- Notification and communication preferences
1.3 Service Use Information
- Property and unit details associated with your account
- Demand notices, invoices, and payment history
- Wallet balance and transaction records
- Electricity meter numbers and electricity token purchases
- Communication with your estate management company
1.4 Information You Submit in the App
- Visitors: the name and phone number of each visitor you register, and the date and details of the visit, so your estate’s security staff can admit them.
- Emergency reports: the type of emergency, any description you add, and your precise location at the moment you report it (see Section 1.6).
- Support tickets and complaints: the subject, message, category, and any photos you attach.
- Poll votes: the option you choose in a poll run by your estate, linked to your account or your property.
- Community join requests: the estate and house you ask to be linked to, your relationship to it, and any supporting document you upload (for example, a tenancy agreement or proof of ownership, as a PDF or image).
1.5 Contacts
When you register a visitor, you can choose to pick them from your device’s contacts instead of typing their details. With your permission, the App opens your contacts so you can select one person; only the name and phone number of the contact you select are filled in and sent with that visitor registration. We do not upload, copy, or store your address book, and the App does not read your contacts at any other time.
1.6 Precise Location
With your permission, the App reads your device’s precise location only when you submit an emergency report, and attaches it to that report so your estate’s security staff and responders can find you. The App does not track your location in the background or at any other time. If you deny location permission, you can still send an emergency report without a location.
1.7 Camera and Photo Information
With your permission, Zenus360 may access your device’s camera and photo library so you can take or choose photos to attach to a support ticket or complaint. Documents for a community join request are chosen through your device’s file picker. Photos and documents you select are uploaded to our secure servers and are only used for the purpose you provided them. We do not access your camera, photo library, or files in the background, and you may deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, though doing so may limit related features.
1.8 Device Information and Push Notifications
- IP address, operating system, and app version, which our servers receive with each request
- A push notification token for your device, with the device platform and an identifier for your installation, so we can send you notifications such as the approval of a community join request. Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (and, on iPhone, Apple Push Notification service). The token is removed when you sign out or delete your account, and you can turn notifications off in your device settings.
1.9 Information Kept Only on Your Device
Your sign-in session is kept in your device’s secure storage. If you turn on the app lock, Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock is handled entirely by your device’s operating system: we never receive or store your biometric data.
1.10 What We Do Not Collect
The App does not include analytics or crash-reporting tools and does not collect usage analytics, crash logs, or advertising identifiers. It does not show advertising and does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy before that version of the App is released.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide, operate, and improve our services, as well as for the following purposes:
2.1 To Facilitate Estate Management and Payments
- Linking you to your property and estate management company, including reviewing your community join requests.
- Issuing demand notices and processing payments, wallet funding, electricity token purchases, and refunds.
- Registering your visitors so your estate’s security staff can admit them.
- Passing your emergency reports, support tickets, complaints, and poll votes to your estate management company.
2.2 Communication
- To send you service-related notifications, such as demand notices, payment confirmations, updates, and support messages, by email, SMS, or push notification.
- To send promotional content, newsletters, or special offers (you may opt out of these communications).
2.3 Improving Our Services

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. However, we may share your information under the following circumstances:
3.1 With Your Estate Management Company
When you are linked to a property, or ask to be, your name, contact information, property details, and payment status are shared with the relevant estate management company so they can administer your account, issue demand notices, and reconcile payments. The visitors you register, your emergency reports (including their location), support tickets, complaints, poll votes, and join request documents are shared with your estate management company and its security staff, because that is who they are for.
3.2 Service Providers
We may share your information with third-party service providers who assist us in providing our services: payment processors, cloud hosting, email and SMS delivery, push notification delivery (Google Firebase Cloud Messaging), and the electricity token provider that issues tokens for your meter. These providers only receive the information necessary to perform their function and are contractually required to protect it.
3.3 Business Transfers
If Locohozt is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your personal data may be transferred. We will notify you before your personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
3.4 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required by law or if we believe such action is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation.
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Locohozt, our users, or others.
4. How We Protect Your Information
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:
- Encryption of all traffic between the App and our servers with HTTPS/TLS.
- Access control measures to limit access to your personal data to authorized personnel.
- Regular security audits and updates to our systems.
However, please note that no transmission of data over the internet is guaranteed to be completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted through our platform.
5. Your Data Rights
You have certain rights regarding your personal data, subject to applicable law, including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023:
5.1 Access and Correction
You have the right to access and update your personal data stored on our platform. You can do this by logging into your account or contacting our support team.
5.2 Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account yourself at any time:
- In the App: tap your profile picture at the top of the screen to open My account, then tap Delete my account, enter your password, and confirm.
- On the web: visit the Account Deletion page at https://zenus360.app/account-deletion and follow the emailed confirmation link.
- By email: write to support@zenus360.app from the email address on your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
Deleting your account signs you out on every device, removes your email address, phone number, password, profile details, and push notification tokens, and unlinks you from your properties. Some records are kept as described in Section 5.3.
5.3 Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account remains active, and afterward only as described below:
- Account and profile information: retained while your account is active, and removed or anonymized when you delete your account.
- Payment and transaction records: retained for up to 6 years after the transaction date, in line with applicable Nigerian tax, audit, and financial recordkeeping requirements. After account deletion they are no longer linked to your name or contact details.
- Estate records (visitor registrations, emergency reports, support tickets, complaints, poll results, and join requests): these belong to your estate management company as operational records and are kept by it for as long as it needs them, no longer linked to your name or contact details once your account is deleted.
- Photos and uploaded documents: retained for as long as needed for the purpose they were collected, and deleted or anonymized once no longer required.
We may retain certain information for longer where required by law, to resolve disputes, or to enforce our agreements.
5.4 Data Portability
You may request a copy of the personal data we have collected from you in a structured, machine-readable format.
5.5 Opt-Out of Marketing
You may opt-out of receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails or adjusting your account settings.
5.6 Device Permissions
You may grant, deny, or revoke access to your camera, photo library, contacts, location, and notifications at any time through your device settings, as described in Sections 1.5 to 1.8.
5.7 Complaints
You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
6. Children’s Privacy
Zenus360 is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
7. Third-Party Links
Our platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third-party websites or services, and we encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
7.1 Third-Party Payment Processors
We use Paystack, and where your estate management company has chosen them, Flutterwave or Monnify, to process card and bank payments made through the Zenus360 platform. When you make a payment, your information — including name, email, payment details, and transaction history — may be shared with that processor in accordance with its privacy policy.
Locohozt does not collect or store your credit card or bank account information directly. We ensure all payment data is transmitted securely via encrypted channels.
